The well known face of Playboy magazine, Hugh Hefner, is now down to just one girlfriend. This news comes as his two 20-year-old twin girlfriends, Kristina and Karissa Shannon, leave the Playboy Mansion. However, the two will not be going too far, as they will be just moving over to the neighboring Playmate House.

So this brings up the question, what happened? Well some think that the twins chose to leave, but this isn’t quite what happened. Apparently Hef explained that, while his relationship with main girlfriend Crystal Harris was getting more serious, the twins had been expressing interest in doing more Playmate related promotional work.

In fact, it was Mr. Hefner, now age 83, who suggested the move to the girls. He said that the girls saw the Playmates traveling across country, and they wanted to do the same thing. Although the girls will no longer be defined as girlfriends, like all of Hefs ex-girlfriends, they will still be defined as really good friends.

Although Hef said that things are pretty serious between him and 23-year-old Crystal, he noted that he is not be listening to wedding bells just yet. Hef joked and said that he had not had a lot of luck with marriage, and he did not want to screw this one up.

One of Hefs ex-girlfriends, Kendra Wiklinson, did offer up a little dating advice for her former love. When asked if Hef could be a one man lady, Kendra said no way; he will find more girls. When asked who he should date, she said that she did not know, but maybe he should try some brunettes this time.
