Well it seems that this year’s Super Bowl may have more than one controversial commercial that will be shown. According to Fox news, CBS is now considering running an ad for a gay dating website during one of the biggest televised events of the year.

The ad, if it gets played, will be for ManCrunch.com. This is a site that promotes itself as a place where many, many men come together to play. The ad was reportedly submitted to CBS on January 18th, and it remains under review according to a network spokesperson.

Fox News went on to report that the commercial will feature two men excitedly watching a sporting event on the television before brushing hands while reaching for a bowl of potato chips. The two men then begin to make out much to the shock of another friend that is sitting nearby.

A representative from ManCrunch.com told Fox News that they think CBS has no intention of running their 30 second commercial. It is attempting to ward off a backlash from gay advocacy groups by not completely rejecting it.

Some experts say that it would not shock them if the ad was run during the Super Bowl. Others point out that it may not be the best time to run such an ad. However, no word has been given out on if CBS will run the ad or not. Although it does appear that more signs are pointing to no than yes, no one will know for sure until the Super Bowl or until CBS confirms its decision.
