Two British newlyweds, Paul and Joanne Ramsey, are hoping that others will follow their footsteps after setting up a free dating website. The couple just married on Saturday after dating for a year, meeting each other through a dating site, and are off to Egypt to celebrate the start of their new lives. They have now introduced their own site, which is the only free dating site on the internet, in order to help others find their one true love.

Paul, age 33, and Joanne, age 29, have lived in Harlow but never met each other until they joined a dating site, following years of staying single. Joanne said that she was afraid to use the dating website at first, as well as a little embarrassed, because none of her friends had used one before either. As time has passed, dating websites have turned out to be more acceptable, she continued, and this was certainly the case for her when some of her friends joined the site too, after she had used it for a few weeks.

Paule is happy with the prospect of getting to help other people find love. He said that he spent a lot of money on dating sites to find her, and it has all been well worth it. However, he continued, not everybody can spend hundreds on a dating website, because they are normally very expensive. This is why they thought that they would set up a free dating website for anyone to join when they were married, Paul said. Setting the website up has been a little expensive, he added, but they will ultimately be satisfied with helping other couples meet on their site like they did.
