According to reports, Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez, the Yankee baseball star, went on a 3-hour date last week. Even though the couple was seen having dinner with other friends (about 10 people), rumors have been spread that the two were getting rather cozy at Lure Fishbar during the meal and that now the couple is a couple. It was also reported by Page Six that the two went to Rose Bar after the 3-hour meal was over, but there again, they were meeting up Ron Burkle, one of the starlets friends.

Only last month Hudson was telling Stella McCartney, fashion designer and pal who interviewed her for the January issue of In Style Magazine, how much she was loving being single after dating Lance Armstrong. Hudson said that she was enjoying the single life now, as she has never really been single before. Plus, Rodriguez is still newly divorced from Madonna.

Representatives of Kate Hudson, however, are denying that she is dating Alex Rodriguez, even though they seemed to be cozy during their date last week. They are insisting that the two were only going out with friends as a group, and there wasn’t anything romantic about the dinner. The representatives also say that going to dinner with friends wasn’t even a date at all, like the rumors have grown to say. However, the two are no strangers of PDA with each other, as Rodriguez has already been seen flirting with other women, like Donna Karan for New Year’s.
