The Right One is Paid $995 by Woman in Exchange for Two Dates

Some people will pay a lot of money to find their true love, and this is the case with Sara Sims, who paid $995 to The Right One, a dating service, and has only gotten two dates. Needless to say, Sims wants to be refunded the full amount of what she paid, because she is not at all happy with their service.

Since September, Sims says that she has only gotten two dates and is claiming that the dating service is avoiding her now. Really, all she wanted was to meet a guy that was nice, she said, but didn’t get much except a big hassle. She says that she was anticipating tailored matchmaking and personal service. Instead, she says that she ended up with irritated customer service representatives that wouldn’t put up with the needs she had.

The Right One has stopped matching Sims with other clients due to her picky taste, she claims. Both her and a spokeswoman for the company say that Sims’s picky taste includes a list of banned names, as she doesn’t want other partners that have the same first names as previous partners she has had, as it would be too weird.

The Right One spokeswoman denied that the company has cut her off from the service. They say that they have thousands of clients who live in southern Wisconsin, but wouldn’t provide a number to be specific. However, all of the matches are held in the hands of only nine workers, who are based in Nebraska.

Even after contacting 27 News Troubleshooter, The Right One refused to give Sims a refund of her money, but invited her to keep working with them. The spokeswoman said that finding a match takes time, and they are 95% positive that Sims will find a special someone if she continues to use their service.

Thank you 27 News Troubleshooter for the information.
