It has been less than month since Raffaello Follieri, Anne Hathaway’s ex-boyfriend, was put in prison where he developed an allergy to jail. However, Anne is back to dating again, and this time it’s with Adam Shulman, a young actor that has already been described as someone like Follieri, an opportunist.

Page Six reported from a source, “Adam is known as an opportunist. When he was at Brown (University), he went after all the heiresses. It’s like Anne is addicted to losers.” However, another source who went to college with the young actor spoke to Jossip saying, “He’s a huge dork, the kind of guy that looked up to other nerdy guys as his hero. He’s basically harmless.”

The two have been spotted in New Orleans vacationing recently, but Anne had an initial reluctance to speak about the budding romance, as Shulman was in a relationship already when the two met. Actually, he was the one that spilled about the relationship at the screening of ‘Rachel Getting Married’, Anne’s new movie. He told Life & Style, “We met through mutual friends. I came to support Anne. We’ve never been to New Orleans before; it’s our first time.”

While the two were sipping on white wine at Patois, Anne said that, at first, things weren’t perfect for the couple, as he was already dating someone else, and she thought that she would have to step down. An insider who is close to Anne told Life & Style that Adam is everything that Follieri wasn’t. He is kind and sensitive, they said, and they believe that Anne might have discovered a ‘kindred spirit’.
