On Friday night, Criss Angel came out about his romantic relationship with Holly Madison, the former “number 1″ girlfriend of Hugh Hefner, after they have denied that they are more than friends for months now.

They have been linked together since September, which is when they were reportedly getting cozy at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. After the rumors, Miss Madison denied on her Myspace blog that Criss Angel and herself have been dating. She wrote that Hef and herself were not breaking up. Kevin Burns, the executive producer of “The Girls Next Door”, officially denied it as well in a press statement, saying that he didn’t know where that stuff came from.

During the years Madison has repeatedly said that her main goal was to get married and have a child prior to turning 30. After a number of in-vitro fertilization attempt, Hefner wasn’t able to get Madison pregnant, which only added fuel to the tension. In September, Hefner confirmed that Madison and hisself split up and noted that they had failed to make a baby together earlier in the year. He said to Us Weekly that he was ‘road kill’. Holly, on the other hand, continue denying that Angel and herself were a couple, telling reporters that they are only friends.

On Friday, however, Criss Angel said that the evening was one of the most special ones for him in his life, and he couldn’t think of anyone more beautiful and special to spend it with than Holly. When he was asked how they got together, he said that he got lucky. He didn’t have a date, but Holly said that she would go with him, he continued. He also added that she makes him look good.

After the opening of his new show, Believe, the couple went to a private party hand-in-hand.
