During an interview on the Today Show on Monday, Kate Gosselin appeared and broke down in tears when trying to describe why she still wears her wedding ring. While trying to maintain composure, Kate, from the hit show ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8′, said that she still wears her ring to help make the divorce easier for her children.

Although Kate was very emotional during the interview, she was still able to tackle questions head on. This included questions about Jon’s new romances and denied having an affair with her bodyguard. Kate also found the strength to attack her brother who publicly criticized her.

Despite being clearly upset about the subject, Kate did not shed any tears when addressing the subject of Jon dating Hailey Glassman, who was the 22 year old daughter of the doctor who handled Kate’s tummy tuck.

Kate was asked about the fact that Jon did admit to starting a relationship in May, which was well before the couple announced their divorce. Kate went on to say that she was very shocked and said it was hurtful. However, she did note that the most hurtful part is when Jon’s decisions directly affect the kids.

Although Kate may have been upset with Jon, she saved most of her harsh words for her brother Kevin and his wife Jodi. The couple had spoken out against Jon and Kate, saying that the kids were being exploited. Kate said that this was one of the most hurtful things of all. She went on to say that this was a brother that she use to be very close with, and now he has become jealous.
