Just the other day, Jon had said that he and Hailey Glassman are taking a break from each other. This is all despite the fact that they just had a very romantic trip to St. Tropez in France and kept on gushing about each other. The latest news is that Jon has moved on from Glassman and went on to dating reporter Kate Major.

Jon released in a statement that he is, indeed, in a relationship with Kate Major, who is a former Star Magazine reporter. He did go on record of saying that their relationship is very private. However, it is hard for someone like Jon Gosselin to stay out of the news for very long.

Gosselin went on to say that he cares about Kate Major a lot, and she cares about him as well. In fact, Major gave up her job to date Jon. However, Jon did say that he wants his personal life private right now and wants to focus on his relationship with his kids.

Kate Major did decline to comment on her relationship with Jon at the time being. Of course, people are still wondering why Jon said just last week that they were not dating, and why he called Kate Major a lair for saying so. Kate did say that she knows that there is a lot of press that comes along with dating a reality TV dad, but she wants everyone to know that she is a very genuine person.
